Follow these steps to deactivate your Instagram account: 1. Open a browser and go to Instagram.com.
2. Log in with your username and password.
3. Click on your profile picture and select “Profile” > “Edit Profile”.
4. Scroll down and click on “Temporarily disable my account”.
5. Select the reason for terminating your account and re-enter the password.
6. Click “Temporarily Disable Account” to confirm.
You can also temporarily terminate your account from the Instagram app by following these steps:
1. Go to instagram.com from your computer.
2. Click your profile picture in the upper right corner, click Profile, and then click Edit Profile.
3. Scroll down, then click Temporarily deactivate my account in the bottom right corner.
